This pluggin is what I define as charityware and can be freely distributed.  If you find it useful make what you feel as   an appropriate donation to your favorite charity.  You cannot charge or make any money from this routine by reselling or bundling them with another package/cd/web page without my permission.


To install this routine just copy the files into your 3ds Max plugin directory.

Vertex Combustion is basically the same as the original Combustion but instead of working with Combustion Apparati it works with any object with faces and vertices.  Basically it places a combustion effect on each vertex of the object.  It also allows you to assign a 2d material to the effect.

Vertx Combustion works the same as the original Combustion.  The only new fields are:

Use Material Texture brings up a material dialog to that allows you to assign a material to the effect instead of the color/smoke swatches.

Effect Size: Determines the size of the combustion effect around each vertex.


Bugs
Sometimes when you change the 2d material in the Material Editor it does not update the effect and needs to be reassigned.

1.1 fixes the names not being saved in the Enviroment Dialog.
